Welcome to our website, this is our story.
Daniels Delights is a family owned Chocolatier that was launched in 2007 in Stoke On Trent by our CEO Ken Harrison and his wife Jen at their Kitchen table, when Ken, a trained chef, began making Chocolate Favours for Jen to sell at local farmers markets. The business is even named after their first born son!
Since those humble beginnings and lots of hard work, the business has grown organically to achieve a current total output of 400MT of chocolate per annum all produced from our own 11,000 sq ft BRC accredited factory in Fenton.
We are able to produce in excess of 20,000 bars per day as well as small volume batches of hand finished chocolate, which makes us quite unique within the UK.
We undertake contract manufacture for brand owners as well as producing own branded products for well known UK high street retailers and with our sister company, Montrose Chocolate Ventures we also own and produce three award winning chocolate brands, Danny’s, Cox&Co and Benefit Chocolate, which between them have won the 2019 World Innovation in Confectionery award and two great taste awards.
As well as building strong relationships with UK retailers, large and small, we are also focussed on developing distribution for our brands throughout the UK, Europe and global markets.
In 2015 we agreed a strategic partnership with Luker Chocolate, a family owned Colombian Cacao plantation who have been producing Cacao from their own plantations since the 1950’s. As a business they are wholly focussed investing in local rural communities and creating long term sustainable relationships with farmers and growers and moving them away form less sustainable farming practices and into Cacao production. As a business they work tirelessly in rebuilding communities previously blighted by the trade in Coca leaf and through their work throughout Colombia they’ve helped those communities by building schools and developing social enterprise schemes to allow them to become sustainable through the production of Cacao. The Cacao they produce is classified by the ICCO as being in the top 8% of the global production in terms of quality and has the fino de aroma classification.
Delivering superior product quality is of primary importance for us and is supported by fully understanding our supply chain and supporting a ‘Farm to Bar’ supply chain through our partnership with Luker Chocolate.
